Roger That – Big Booty Big Money

I’ve had a long standing love affair with the work of Evelyn Edelman, creator of Big Booty, Big Money.

Whimsical, bold, well constructed and fun, there’s a really sassy element to these clothes that I adore. Evelyn uses names for her outfits that are absolutely unforgettable (Marginal Bovine….?) and her marketing, too, is in your face and unabashed – shotguns, gas masks and radioactive rabbits all feature in this quite unique enterprise.

This number is Single Desperation – acknowledge the boobs, but don’t ogle the boobs. The dress comes in a multitude of colour combinations – the other standout for me is the grey and red, which I have on many an occasion almost bought… again. I already own the fat pack.

Goth-y pretty, with a splash of colour that might offend the purists, you can let this Dormant dress/bat right out of it’s cave.

Named the JK Dress, I’ve often wondered if this was inspired by Harry Potter’s author, JK Rowling. Does Evelyn imagine JK plotted away at the fate of Harry, Hermione and Ron dressed like this? If that were indeed the case, I’d have even more love for the books.
